The United Assemblies
of Christ International
is a conglomeration of many diverse worship methods and
expressions uniting solely under the banner of Jesus Christ.
Our fellowship is open to various expressions of worship
and celebration of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, recognizing
cultural, regional and ethnic diversity - while maintaining
each individuals freedom of conscience, thought and expression.
To that end, United Assemblies
of Christ International
opens its doors of fellowship, friendship and love to all
who proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Lord
and Savior, without regard to race, age, sex, nationality
(ethnic background), "religious" expression, or
physical handicap.
Background:
The United Assemblies
of Christ International
was established on July 1, 2008 by way of merging several
independent/autonomous bodies under one corporate umbrella.
Apostle D. E. Chase, Th.D., in his jouney of uniting people
from various denominational and dogmatic backgrounds developed
several "associations," "fellowships"
and "communions," which were destine to become
one body in Christ.
Over the course of several years, Apostle Chase has established
several churches and fellowships for the purpose of uniting
God's people. The fact is that his mission was to establish
a fellowship, not continue and perpetuate denominational
division and strife. His mission was to set out on a journey
to unite people who express their devotion to the Lord our
God in diverse methods, all uniting under the banner of
our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Truth be told, in today's world there is no such thing
as being "non-denominational." Each branch
of the Church-at-large, whether Apostolic, Episcopal, Evangelical,
Baptist, Pentecostal, Trinitarian, or Oneness, have been
a tremendous influence on the whole of Christendom's views
on matters of faith and practice. Therefore, to say that
we are "non-denominational" would be
a severe misrepresentation of the truth. It would be more
accurate to proclaim that our fellowship encompasses the
unique diversity, flavors and modes of worship expressions
of all groups of believers in Christ, both Liturgical and
Non-Liturgical.
Our fellowship, United Assemblies
of Christ International
celebrates the diversity of the Christian faith. Scripture
plainly states that, "Wherefore I give you to understand,
that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus
accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is Lord, but
by the Holy Ghost." 1st Corinthians 12:3 KJV.
This is an important verse of scripture to realize and understand.
This passage is speaking plainly about the fact that it
is only by and through the Holy Spirit can one call Jesus
Christ Lord and mean it. Additionally, we ought to remember
the rebuke of the Lord against sectarianism (St. Mark
9:38-41; St. Luke 9:49-50 KJV).
The whole of the Church-at-large has to come to grips with
the fact that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is coming
back for only one church - His Church! He is not returning
for one specific denomination, neither is He casting out
anyone who is and has been faithful to His Word. He is also
coming for all faithful people...in faith in
Him, in worship of Him, in love with Him.
One of the many problems we face is that religious and
governmental pressures have infiltrated the Church of God
(not the denomination - but all true believers).
These pressures have caused rifts within the society of
the faithful, by way of mandating the way you are to view
God and practice religion. Jesus never came to establish
a religion - He came to set captives free, heal the
sick, bind up broken hearts, and to bring us life more abundantly.
Our problem is that we dare try God, we tempt Him through
ridiculous means and by separating ourselves from the congregation
of the faithful...This is what denomination has done for
us. It has caused us to separate from the whole of the body
of Christ, claiming to be a separate body of believers.
Religious fanatics have also caused major disruptions.
These are the same people who preach hell fire and brimstone,
not ever preaching grace, mercy, forgiveness and love. One
would say that in the eyes of a religious fanatic, everyone
except themselves would be destine to spend eternity in
hell. In addition, the religious fanatic is demon possessed
by the religious demon, who is unleashed upon this earth
to assist our adversary in his mission to steal, kill and
destroy. Such individuals are void of the divine essence
of the Lord Jesus Christ and the very message of the Gospel
He preached.
These fact in no way shape or form negate the moral and
spiritual righteousness of God and His Word. The Word of
God is clear on our morality as well as the requirements
for servant-leadership within the Church. Therefore, we
must keep in mind the Word of God at all times and line
up ourselves within the meaning and implications thereof.
